Monday night, March 8, sees the latest in our series of events associated with our current exhibition Curtain Up : 40 years of Scottish Theatre. An impressive panel of theatre names will gather to chat about the significance of the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh. These include the Traverse’s current Artistic Director Dominic Hill, the critic and commentator Joyce MacMillan, and a trio of fine Scottish playwrights, Peter Arnott, Chris Hannan, and David Harrower. Adrienne Scullion, Professor of Drama at Glasgow University, will be chairing. (Photograph, by Sean Hudson, is from the Traverse’s 1993 production of Bondagers by Sue Glover)
